The thread by ChrisR and the loss of his fly rods and reels by thieves from his vehicle should be a wakeup call to all of us. Nice sunny day here in Dorset so decided to take a fly rod down to Studland. Arrived at middle beach about 10.30 to find a fairly stiff on shore wind blowing loads of weed straight at the shoreline. Had a few casts but returned weed everytime. After half hour of nothing but weed, upped sticks and moved just inside harbour, in front of Shell bay restaurant and ferry slip way. Wounded Warrior Fishing Tournament- Montauk NY - October 11, 2008 This Columbus Day Weekend the North Shore Anglers Club will be hosting the second annual Tournament for the Troops Fishing Tournament in Montauk, NY.
