West Michigan’s Muskegon river is a large, rocky mountain looking river that spans over 200 miles through northern Michigan. It’s home to resident rainbow and brown trout, as well as some of the largest migratory runs of great lakes big game fish such as king salmon, steelhead and lake run brown trout. Few rivers top it east of the Mississippi.
